You arrive at Summit to find a detached bungalow positioned on a slope above Oban, with the Pulpit Hill Viewpoint directly adjacent. The ground floor opens into a combined kitchen and dining space that flows into a bright living room; both rooms face out across Oban Bay toward the Western Isles and Ben Cruachan. A balcony runs the length of the property with furniture for eating outside. On this level are two of the three bedrooms: one with a king bed and ensuite shower, the other with a double. The third bedroom, containing two single beds, sits on the lower ground floor alongside a utility room and a second bathroom with both bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric range, dishwasher, American fridge freezer and microwave. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with gas central heating and a welcome pack.
The property sleeps six and suits families or groups wanting a base for exploring the west coast. A driveway accommodates three cars; there is bike storage and an enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue. The viewpoint is literally yards away—ideal for watching ferries heading to Mull, Tiree and Iona without leaving the property. Oban itself, known for seafood, has restaurants, a distillery, leisure centre and shops within a mile. Kayaking, cycling and walking are all nearby; further afield are Inveraray Jail, Bonawe Ironworks and various gardens and castles. A beach sits about a mile down the coast. The garden contains slopes, and there are steps to the entrance.
