About Killorn Guest House
Self check-in and check-out sets Killorn Guest House apart from a typical Oban stay, letting guests arrive and leave on their own schedule rather than around a reception desk. The guest house sits on Cawdor Terrace, within easy reach of the ferry terminal, train station and town centre, making it a practical base for exploring Argyll and Bute without needing a car for the essentials.
Rooms are contemporary in style, kept to a high standard of cleanliness, and finished with comfortable beds; family rooms and en-suite bathrooms are available, and some rooms offer sea views along with in-room drinks. Breakfast is served on-site and free WiFi runs throughout, while a 24 hour reception remains on hand alongside the self-service arrival option.
Beyond the door, guests can walk to nearby pubs, bars and restaurants, or head out for golf, fishing and watersports in the surrounding area. The location and value for money stand out as particular strengths, making Killorn Guest House a sound, no-fuss choice for visitors keen to spend their time and budget on Oban itself rather than on their accommodation.
Guests mention this guest house offers very well-presented rooms with contemporary decor, immaculately clean spaces, and comfortable beds. They also highlight the great value for money and convenient self check-in and check-out process. Visitors appreciate the fantastic location with easy access to the ferry terminal, train station, and town center.
