Tigh na Clachan

This cottage dates from when Clachan Seil was built around the famous bridge that spans to Seil Island. The building sits directly beside the water, with the landscape visible from most rooms and a path leading straight down to the shore. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and accommodation for four people mean families or two couples have space to spread out without compromising on comfort.

Downstairs, a full kitchen with electric oven, induction hob and dishwasher opens into a dining area, which flows through to the sitting room. French doors frame the sea views and lead into the front garden where you can sit outside. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a kingsize bed and the second has two singles; both bathrooms have baths with showers and heated towel rails. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; one dog stays free, and families with young children will find a travel cot, highchair and stairgate available.

From the garden you can walk along the shore, explore the walking trails nearby, or spend time on the bridge itself. There is private parking for two cars, and an electric car charging point is available in the adjacent pub car park. Smoking is not permitted inside.
