Willowburn Cottages - Lunga works well for small families or two couples wanting their own space without the formality of a larger holiday let. The cottage sits on the Isle of Seil, connected to the mainland by the famous Bridge over the Atlantic, with direct access to the shoreline and gardens that open onto the water. Two bedrooms—one double, one with twin singles—and a bathroom upstairs, with the ground floor given over to an open-plan living and kitchen area that flows onto a decked terrace.
The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering: electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher mean you can cook as much or as little as you like. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered. Parking for two cars sits on the property itself. The garden is shared with other cottages and includes a pond and stream; there are six steps down from the decking to reach the main lawn.
The location opens onto serious exploring. Boat trips run from nearby to the Gulf of Corryvreckan where dolphins, otters and sea eagles are common sightings. Oban—a 20-minute drive—has daily ferries to Mull, Staffa and Iona. Glencoe, Fort William and Inveraray are all within reach for a day out. A pub and restaurant sit just a quarter-mile away, with a shop two and a half miles distant. The property does not allow smoking.

If I could I'd put 10 for the location! Beauty and peace of nature, but not too far from Oban for the week's shop. Everything was sparkling and clean. I'd definitely recommend it. Beautiful. Hopefully we'll be going again.

John (the host) was very kind and helpful and gave us great tips. The apartment was spacious, modernly furnished, quiet, and had a lovely garden right on the water. There was also a fantastic view of an inlet of the Atlantic. It was a very pleasant stay.
