What visitors say
Fantastic day out to go on a steam train! The place has a good car park. We booked tickets before we went which saved money. We did a 1st class experience which was nice there was 8 of us and we fit in nicely! Steam train was really cool and my kids loved it! The museum was lovely you can go in some of the trains. The shop was reasonably priced! We also went into the cafe which had a playground around the back. Lovely day to find out about the trains on the island and the island tracks. The train ride was about an hour and you could go on it all day! Staff were friendly and helpful. Well worth the money would come again.

Havenstreet is the main station in the middle of the 51/2-mile line and most of the facilities are at this station. Staff are friendly and happy to answer question and explain the workings. The time table does take a bit of working out and can run a bit behind later in the day. You can take as many trips as you what, two engines running when we visited and we rode on both. Workshops and museum has interesting exhibits and informal.

Really great day out. So much to see & do. Great for ALL ages. Even if you're not that into trains, ots fun & quite a revelation. Kids go free ( up to 3 ) with a paying adult & carers with pass are free.

Visited here on our recent trip to the island. This place is fantastic for adults and children of all ages. All the staff are super friendly and passionate about what they do which really shows in the great work they do. Very affordable pricing with so much to see and do. They also had an Easter trail on for the children who both got an egg. Highly recommend this place 👍
