Blessed with the best sunny weather we could have wished for, but the site is terrific - the large pond as backdrop every morning is simply beautiful, and fishing did not disappoint (I don’t use a hook so just watch them nibbling my ‘bait’!) The plots are big enough so you never feel crowded, and the dog walk field was quite enough for our old fellow. Never had to queue for the single shower / toilet, but can see this might put some folk off. The couple in charge were unobtrusive but very nice, and owner Richard very friendly. Recommended (PS - yes the wifi was patchy, but ‘so what’ when you are away from it all!!)

Lovely 7 night stay, great to see a few planes taking off and arriving. Peaceful and tranquil, excellent dog walk, lovely to see chickens having a wander and sheep in adjacent field. Tearoom was very good. Big thankyou to Phil and Maxine who were very friendly and helpful, look forward to visiting again.

We are at the Hamilton Airfield Tea Rooms. Great opening day guys. Congratulations. The tea room is fantastic. Full of WWII and airfield history. Cakes are great and the savouries are delicious. You must try the sausage roll 😋. Very dog friendly 🐕 Definitely coming back. Well done to Richard, Stacy and the team.

Very friendly adults only campsite. Toilets and showers clean. Beautiful scenery and sunsets. Clean and well kept. Tea room on site. Planes and balloons take off frequently. Fishing is good on a well stocked pond with carp, Tench & rudd. Staff are always happy to help with anything.
