Booked a lodge with private hot tub because it us my autistic sons favourite thing. Get to lodge only to find out the hot tub isn't private it's sunken into the front deck in full view of other lodges around us. Hot tub was used twice in the 5 days. Shocking for the extra you pay to have the hot tub and it's advertised as private and it couldn't be further from the truth.

Booked a lodge with hot tub for a relaxing weekend arrived on the Friday check in 16.00 opened the lodge to find a terrible smell of wet dogs in the living room the sofás were covered with dog hairs and saliva the toilet floors were still wet so the cleaners must have cleaned just before we arrived,I went straight back to reception and reported the problems to a young male member of staff who told me they were pet friendly lodges I dont think he has been trained on customer relations and should not be dealing with paying customers I asked could we get some blankets to cover the saliva and hairs on the sofás and something for the smell I was told to go back to the lodge someone would call soon the cleaner turned up and told us the previous occupier had two large dogs and the cleaners did the best they could under the cicumstances she brought two small throws which were inadequate to cover the sofás she also said there was nothing else they could do to help unfortunately,we did not use the lodge other than the bedrooms to sleep and the hot tub which was nice and well maintained throughout our stay,the site itself is spotless and very quiet and most of the staff were very friendly

Great park with lovely lodges most with hot tub. Local supermarkets are only 10 mins drive away. The park has an outdoor play area for kids with crazy golf. No camp shop so maybe in future. Free WiFi as well. It ha 3 overnight EV chargers at the park entrance.

Only down fall was service. We were asked to call and let the holiday park know if we will check in after 5pm. This is what I did and was told to call the number in email to get someone when we arrive and then the park will send someone down to check in. We arrived at 5.05pm. Call the number no reply. Kept trying. Other people arrived to check in. We eventually got someone in the sales team, who tried to get someone to check us in. Needless to say 50min later in the pouring rain we eventually got checked in. Not a great first impression. First time staying at this park. I have to say we all had a great time after this. Lodge was lovely. Hot tub was good.
