About Enterkine Country House Resort
Enterkine Country House Resort sits on a 350-acre estate outside Annbank, around six miles from Ayr, with the main house set above the River Ayr and surrounded by woodland. Accommodation spans traditional hotel rooms in the house itself and a scattering of separate lodges and cottages across the grounds, including the Gatehouse with its own hot tub and the more secluded Bluebell Lodges.
Dining runs through the Riverview Restaurant and CENA, both looking out over the estate, with a Glenfiddich whisky library for something stronger after dinner and a Sunday carvery drawing a strong local following. A spa on site adds a further reason to base a stay here rather than simply visiting for a meal.
Enterkine is well known as a wedding venue, with the Pavilion and Garden Room hosting ceremonies and receptions through the summer, so it suits a country retreat as much as it does a base for exploring Ayr and the surrounding Ayrshire golf coast.

The staff are awesome, the place is beautiful, the lodge we booked was excellent and very fairly priced. We had a few drinks outside on the terrace, then had an awesome pizza. The menu is the restaurant looks great and also reasonably priced. Would 100% recommend and stay again. The staff here were outstanding, some of the most friendly and the best customer service I've ever experienced. After driving 6 hours to another hotel we were due to stay at, only to be told that booking.com had been selling rooms that didn't exist, I called Enterkine and luckily managed to get the last lodge that was available, and I'm really glad I did.

Recent stay with friends in the amazing Aspen Lodge at Enterkine Country House. We were welcomed so endearingly by staff and kindly shown to our fabulous 5 bed detached lodge with a wonderful outside area and hot tub. On our arrival to the Lodge there was a beautiful welcome hamper of Temple Spa delights and a delicious bottle of chilled Prosecco to help us settle in to this absolutely beautiful Lodge for a few days. The grounds of Enterkine are gorgeous and surrounded with beautiful countryside and amazing scenery. We spent most of our time relaxing and enjoying this fabulous Lodge alongside dining within the recently opened Italian Restaurant in the main hotel where we enjoyed the amazing food and wine they had to offer. Can't wait to visit Enterkine Country House again next year and excited to experience the delights of their new Spa which will be opening in the coming months. A hidden gem. Off the 'beaten track' , if you know , you know. Country side setting , delightful cabins/ lodges as well as a plush, well designed hotel. We went for Sunday lunch which is a carvery. Reasonable prices for 2 or 3 courses.

Absolutely dream wedding venue!! Made our wedding day spectacular- Sharon & Mandy are fantastic, amazing communication and go above and beyond. Our guests were wowed by the delicious food and hospitality. We can’t thank them enough for making our day so special!! We can’t wait to come back for a night away. Love Mr & Mrs Knight
