Old Alton Hall Farmhouse

Alton Water lies within walking distance, its 400 acres drawing cyclists and walkers year-round. The visitor centre hosts a children's play area, mini golf, and a café; the beach is roughly 13 miles south. Ipswich's historic centre and shops are within reach for a day out, while a shop, pub and restaurant sit 1½ miles away.

This detached farmhouse sleeps ten across four bedrooms: a kingsize, one double, and two rooms with single beds. Two bathrooms serve the property. Downstairs holds a living and dining room with a woodburner, a kitchen with a dishwasher and electric cooking, and a shower room. A second living room with a television occupies the first floor. An enclosed garden with patio, furniture and barbecue opens from the house; a bike store and parking for six cars are on site. One dog stays free; the owner provides beds and a kennel with an indoor shelter.

Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. The woodburner comes with initial logs. A travel cot, highchair and stairgates are available. No smoking throughout.
