Stable Cottage

The Brett Valley rolls gently through this corner of Suffolk, a working landscape of paddocks and grazing horses watched over by All Saints Church. Stable Cottage stands in these grounds as a converted barn, one of two holiday properties set within the owners' home estate. The location suits anyone wanting to step back from routines—there are views across the lake and countryside, space to sit outside, and an enclosed garden for privacy.

The cottage holds four bedrooms and two bathrooms across a single storey, sleeping up to 6 guests. The living room has a wood burner and Smart TV; the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking with a range cooker, dishwasher and full-sized fridge. Two bedrooms have kingsize beds, two have singles. A travel cot is available. Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels come as standard.

The main draw beyond the setting is the heated outdoor pool, shared with the other property on-site and open from mid-May to mid-September. The enclosed back garden has furniture for sitting out. Parking for two cars is on site. The grounds contain an unfenced lake 250 yards away, which guests should be aware of. No smoking is permitted in the cottage.
