About The H Boutique Hotel

The H Boutique Hotel occupies a central position in Bakewell and has built a reputation well beyond its size, picking up multiple Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice awards in recent years. Rooms are split across superior king and twin rooms, larger suites and a single premium suite, all finished to a high standard with air conditioning, emperor or twin beds, and bathrooms that run from smart two-piece suites up to freestanding or jacuzzi baths in the higher categories.

The hotel leans into its boutique positioning with details like in-room coffee machines, bathrobes and premium toiletries in the suites, and a rooftop terrace that gives guests a rare elevated view over the town's rooftops towards the surrounding hills. A restaurant and bar operate on site, and the hotel offers dining and honeymoon packages alongside standard bookings, with a later checkout available to guests who book directly.

Its town-centre position means Bakewell's shops, bakeries and the river are all a short walk away, and Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are both within easy driving distance for a day out. As a small hotel with a limited number of rooms, it books up quickly for weekends in peak season.

Had a lovely short break in Bakewell. Hotel is perfectly situated in the centre, opposite the market place and a 5 ish minute walk from the car park. We paid £12 for the 24hour overnight stay. Food was lovely, room was gorgeous, staff very friendly. We will return.

Really friendly and very efficient service …. Made sure we got parked OK as the car parks are a bit tricky to work out, but granby Road is just steps away and very convenient. The quality of the room was excellent, wonderful bathroom and really comfortable bed in a very spacious room. The breakfast was top quality and great value for money. No trouble in asking for non diary alternative. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely be back for my next stay in Bakewell …. Thank you to all the staff for a very lovely stay, right in the heart of Beautiful Bakewell

The hotel is located really centrally. Easy check in with very friendly staff. The twin room was huge, plenty of room for my sister and I. Air con very welcome. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for a long or short trip in Bakewell.

Perfect small hotel in the heart of Bakewell. The rooms were clean, well decorated, comfortable with modern (ac!) amenities and it couldn’t have been more comfortable or perfect. Information about the car parks and proximity to the hotel were perfect and short easy walks to the hotel.
