We are currently doing a couple of walking tours in Ireland and northern Ireland. All of the B&Bs and the hosts have been good, but Berkley at Corratavey was outstanding. He was the only host to communicate and send information beforehand, to answer questions and emails very promptly and to send lots of helpful information. He gave great travel advice as we have been using public transportation, and offered to book us a taxi from the station and do dinner reservations etc for us. His advice about where to go for dinner with my dietary restrictions was spot on. He really goes above and beyond for all his guests. The B&B itself was perfect and very comfortable, and even had shared kitchen and living room areas. We would have liked to have stayed longer!

My mom and I stayed at An Caisleán Corratavey Guest House for 3 nights on our mother daughter trip to Northern Ireland and everything was absolutely wonderful! The traditional Irish breakfast was delicious and freshly made to order every morning with other breakfast options available as well. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, and there were lots of extra lounging areas with couches, coffee, and tea available. The owner, Berkeley, went above and beyond with giving us recommendations for restaurants and activities, helping us figure out the transportation system, and even booked taxis for us to and from the airport- making our stay in Ballycastle stress free. This bed and breakfast is in a wonderful seaside location and had easy access to the rambler bus, for those wanting to explore the Causeway Coast. I would recommend An Caisleán Corratavey Guest House to anyone seeking a lovely experience in Northern Ireland!

Berkeley runs an excellent bnb- the attention to details ensured every need of each traveler is met. Our itinerary plans for the day fell through and Berkeley had already guided us to what was likely an even better experience for the day. Communication was easy and again- incredibly detailed when guiding us to local hikes- it truly made the experience so much richer. He had even contacted us prior to arrival - with anticipation that we may need some assistance finding our way in which of course was on spot and ensured our travels were seamless. From coordinating dinner reservations to detailed hiking instructions, usb/usb-c outlets - boot drying- luggage racks and coordinating picks and drop offs and 24 hour tea and coffee available I can not think of any need of ours which was not met.

Stayed one night with Berkeley and Claire last week and it could not have been better. The room was impeccably clean and had a great mattress. It was raining the afternoon we checked in so we enjoyed some time in one of the lounges watching the rain, sipping some tea, and having a scone that Berkely very thoughtfully provided. Their attention to the guests needs and help with local recommendations is top notch. My wife and I are trying to figure out when we can go back.
