What visitors say
Didn't quite know what to expect but was very impressed. The site is huge with more being uncovered all the time. The museum is very interesting and just amazing how many things have been uncovered. You can easily spend all day there looking around. If wet make sure you have wet weather gear. Highly recommend if you are in the area

An amazing historical site, i would recommend going on a guided tour. Museum was educational with a huge selection of finds on show. It was also interesting as it shows historic time lines of the emporers and how the Roman empire was run. Excavations are still been carried out on site and you can get up close to seeing what's happening. Staff i n the cafe were excellent.
