What visitors say
A very lovely park. I'd never get bored walking round it. Beautiful house. For me the best bit is the kitchen, pantry and scullery downstairs. Fabulous. I always head for the kitchen when I visit a National Trust or English Heritage place but Valentines' are even better (and there's no travelling and it's free to go in)

Its a beautiful house. I loved the kitchen, the scullery, the pantry and the staircase. A great day out with family and friends to explore and learn about the 19th century lifestyle. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. There is a lift! And a café which serves Vegan food! Loved the visit.

Lovely open day and great to see the museum and local history orgs there. Nice to chat with them and the kids enjoyed the trail and objects. More of these events please.
