Wessex House

Absolutely one of the nicest places I have ever stayed! From the moment we arrived everything was beyond perfect. Wessex House Hotel completely exceeded expectations in every single way. The room was stunning, incredibly modern and high tech, while still feeling cosy and welcoming. Everything was absolutely spotless and the attention to detail with the cleanliness was genuinely impressive. The mini kitchen area was such a bonus too, with a fridge, water and milk provided which made the stay feel even more thoughtful and luxurious. The location could not be better — super close to town so you can easily walk back after a night out, with shops nearby and great parking available as well. The key box system made everything so easy and gave loads of freedom to come and go without any hassle. But the best part was definitely the hosts. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, explained everything perfectly, and genuinely made us feel safe, comfortable and looked after throughout the whole stay. You can really tell they care about giving people the best experience possible. Could not recommend this place enough and will 100% be staying again.

Perfect for ones needs; able to get a room with very 'lastminute' notice (staying away for work). Lovely little place, with 'after hours' booking... ..came with very clear instructions for entry, in the form of a text message directly to my mobile phone. Nice clean room, with everything you'd need for a short stay..: And our room even had a toaster and a microwave! Can you top that!?! Ahaa!!! Albeit a 'bit' cosy, for two blokes sharing a bed. But when needs must an all that... lol! For a couple it'd be perfect! Being listed on Lastminute.com saved us a lot of trouble and the price was very reasonable! If ever in the area again would deffo stay there again. Been scammed in the past with locations not even existing after having payed up front... But for those needing reassurance... u can confirm this place is real and it's well worth an overnight stay. Even spike to one of the owners in the morning and she was a very nice lady. Have stayed here a few times lovely clean rooms, very cosy , love that your supplied with dining sets a fridge and microwave, near shops and 10 minutes away from the town centre

I stayed here on Friday night as I had work and come from London. I had unfortunately accidentally left my bag inside with my expensive trainers in the room. I have tried numerous times to contact the owner however I have had no response.
