Dummer Down Farm

Tent and motorhome campsite near Basingstoke in Hampshire countryside, from £24 a night.

About Dummer Down Farm

Dummer Down Farm sits in rural Hampshire between Basingstoke and the North Downs. The site takes tents and motorhomes on open pitches surrounded by farmland and woodland, offering a genuine countryside escape within reach of a major town.

Facilities are straightforward: showers are available to all campers. Pitches are unfussy and informal. The setting is the draw here—genuine rural Hampshire with open views and established trees rather than manicured grounds or activity programmes. The nearby villages and market town of Basingstoke provide practical access to shops and services without being intrusive to the site itself.

What visitors say

Jason Clowser

Spectacular farm camp Site with fantastic hosts. A great couple of evenings with lovely friendly fellow campers and beer connoisseur’s. Plenty of toilets that nice and clean and water points scattered around the Camp Site. Tons of space. What’s not to like and only an hour from London with the most amazing cafe, their bacon baps are tasty and their beer 🍺 is good

Lovely place, people couldn’t be more accommodating, loved the cafe and grocery store on site. Will be back to visit the brewery tap which is open on weekends. Certainly a visit I won’t forget.
