The Midford Valley is quieter than Bath itself, though the city centre is only a short drive away. Tucking Mill hamlet sits deep in countryside where walking and cycling routes start from the doorstep, including Sustrans Route 24. A pub is half a mile on foot; two more substantial ones with food are within 15 minutes' walk. The nearest shop and restaurant are a mile and a half away.
Tucking Mill View is a detached cottage on one level with a king-size bedroom, shower room, and open-plan living space that includes a dining area and kitchen. The living room has an electric woodburner and a smart TV. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. There is a stream in the grounds, about 200 yards from the property.
Outside, a summerhouse overlooks the valley. A private patio has garden furniture and a barbecue. One car can park on site. The property is non-smoking. It suits couples and is dog-friendly.

What a beautiful spot, not too far from the city center, really easy to get to bath city driving or by uber BUT the location is secluded in the hills surrounded by lush greenery and makes you feel like you’re in a rural escape. Super clean and comfortable, we loved it and will be back!!

A really beautiful stay, in a perfect location. It’s a stunning cottage with bird feeders right outside the door so you’ll be treated to robins, tits and even a greater spotted woodpecker! The cottage has absolutely everything you need and is a 10 minute drive away from a supermarket and less than a 15 minute walk to a wonderful pub (Wheelwright Arms). It’s our 2nd time staying here and we really recommend it for a perfect, tranquil getaway.

Beautiful location, 10 minute drive from bath. Nice and easy to get an Uber. The cottage was lovely. The owner Nikki was amazing and gave us lots of recommendations for food and things to do. Highly recommend if your looking for a peaceful weekend in the country.
