Avli of Battersea

Avli is located in a convenient place. Service was good. We wanted to order wraps but there was no price mentioned on the manual. We ended up ordering hummus and a platter. They were two separate platters, halloumi platter and a falafel platter. I admire that they have allowed to order us a mixed platter combined halloumi and falafel but disappointed by the portions. Their prices didn't justified the portions. I was not impressed by the freshness of their food too. Felafel felt as if they have been there from a while and fried again and again as the outside coating was tough and burnt and inside was dried. For salad we were given merely three things, tomatoes, lettuce and onion. When you hear greek or mediterranean, first thing one should imagine is olives but there were no olives no cucumber. Fries were overly salty.

The best gyros I’ve ever had so so tasty, and such good value! Manuela was so welcoming, gave us the best recommendations and made us feel really at home, almost as if we were really in Greece. The tres leches is also incredible, not too sweet like many can be, highly recommend! Thank you so much we had a wonderful evening and dinner.

This place exceeded expectations! After a nice sunny day at Battersea Park, closing the day off with amazing Greek cuisine was perfect. Beautiful restaurant, portions size was great, value for money, and most importantly the flavours were outstanding! Succulent chicken, tender juicy beautifully grilled meat, and everything else accompanying it was fantastic. Would definitely eat here again whenever we visit Battersea Park.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food is delicious, full of authentic Greek flavors that make you feel like you’re actually in Greece. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with lots of Greek artwork and drawings, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. The staff are fantastic, professional, kind, and very friendly. They make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Greek food and a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!
