What diners say
I visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch and I have mixed feelings about the experience. The food was very good — no complaints at all on that side. Everything we ordered was tasty and well presented, and I would definitely come back for the food alone. However, the service was quite poor, especially considering it was brunch. Simple things like bringing water glasses and water should not have to be requested — it felt like almost everything had to be asked for instead of being offered naturally. Another issue was that there was an event taking place in the garden, but this was never communicated to us. We were not informed that we didn’t have access to the garden area, and if we wanted to step outside (for example, to smoke), we had to go out to the street. While this wasn’t a major problem on its own, the lack of communication was disappointing. The biggest issue came when we wanted to order dessert. The bartender informed us that if we ordered dessert, we would have to wait over an hour because of the event. We had a reservation, so I believe that if reservations are accepted, they should be properly accommodated. On top of that, no one informed us from the beginning that there was an event, nor that desserts would need to be ordered within a specific time. In fact, our plates were cleared and we weren’t even offered dessert. It’s a real shame, because the restaurant itself is beautiful, the decor is lovely, and the bathrooms were very clean — everything looked great. Unfortunately, the service, communication, and the way non-event guests were treated really let the experience down.

I visited Lost Society on a Sunday afternoon, and it was actually quite lovely inside, very calm. We ordered the Sunday roast and a chicken burger, and both were really nice, quite enjoyable for lunch. The cappuccino wasn't quite to my taste, as it was very bitter, but everything else was good. The service was friendly, though a little varied at times. It's great that it's wheelchair accessible too.

Lost Society helped me host this incredible rock party with Front Art Brazil, and they were outstanding. The sound system was spot on, the music was loud—exactly what the event called for. The vibe was brilliant, guests kept complimenting how great the night was. I ordered food that was really good, drinks were cold, and the team was fantastic. They even brought coffee backstage and handled everything with care. Though one musician arrived late and the show started behind schedule, Lost Society handled it all smoothly. Everyone left happy, and I can’t recommend them enough!
