Excellent service from bar staff however when we went into the restaurant for our meal the standard was not the same. The staff member who took our order was very reluctant to let us add on anything to our pre theatre menu even though we told her we were happy to pay any extra charge. When I asked if I could have a soft drink instead of wine I was told no- it had to be two courses and a glass of wine so we ordered two glasses of wine. The wine didn’t arrive and when our meal was nearly finished I again asked about the wine only to be told it hadn’t been ordered and in fact we could have two courses without the wine for £24. This member of staff was very pleasant and apologised - she brought us the wine and didn’t charge us so all was settled amicably but it would have been an all round better experience if the original server had been better informed.

V nice hotel, great service from the reception and concierge staff. Dinner in the restaurant was great, but staff in the restaurant could do with being better trained, especially the supervisors. The room was lovely, v clean. Two shower heads in the bathroom, but neither was particularly powerful, would have expected more at this standard of hotel.

Spent last night in the Piano Bar at the Europa Hotel for our anniversary. What a lovely evening 😀 The atmosphere was relaxing, food was delicious. It was a light bites menu which suited us perfectly, we don't like eating big meals when out for drinks. We both loved the food. The staff were young and very friendly and chatty. We really enjoyed the night and will return soon.

Despite the ongoing bombings and current political nightmares happening all over the streets, we had the best time ever at the Europa hotel in Belfast! Upon arrival, we were met by a less than enthusiastic moustached man who’s passion for recalling the stories of dark times long ago was not on show for us :( Most bombed hotel in Europa, we never would have known if it weren’t the shining bright shimmering beautiful light that was tilly. I know a tilly myself personally and we bought agreed that this tilly reigned superior not only as a tilly but as the most significant staff member we have ever encountered (there’s been hundreds( s/o Ella and noamy)) and we are so grateful for that. We took photos together, talked about fav hobbies musical interests, she’s so hard working and is supporting her family. We encountered her upon our request for some ice and by the time she left it was all melted as her conversations proved more necessary than the ice ever did, she came from the bar. It was also my birthday and tilly was the ultimate treat :D big smiley face, a lush for life and we never thought she was gonna leave. Upon her untimely exit, we felt her absence immediately. And then the door closed, we turn around and the pretty bleak interior of the europa faced us, oh wow what a shock we were in for. The only piece of colour came from a stained scattered bathroom glass window that semi allowed us to see our sneaky semis ;) this was perfect for our cheeky nature, however if it was any other non cheeky cheeks we’d probably suggest a room with less of a view, no cheeks to be seen ;)) my birthday surprises never showed and the other tilly that I know wrote a poem for my birthday and we never saw it with the rest of the surprises. We called and we got this situation remedied but a really unhappy man with a balloon arrived at our door. He was a nothing compared to tilly! Overall points - not a great lobby - lifts good - staff liked eachother but not us :( - there was a croiq moisseur situation but a lovely nailed lady really helped us out with that - robes too fluffy and closteqphobic Darren. (They don’t hold sweat or heat) - chair/ tv in the room sucked - lamp in corner didn’t work - we were on a high floor far away from everyone else with a great view car park but it got a bit lonely up there - like bombs, less rooms would have been great - wrapping it up with the following sentence: When life gives you lemons, there delivered straight to your door in a refreshing glass of whiskey cola delivered by a shining day of sunshine, you already knowwwwwwwwww xoxoxo o oxoxox xoxoxo
