About Travelodge Belfast Central

Travelodge Belfast Central offers straightforward, en-suite rooms across six floors, each with tea and coffee to hand and a bathroom to yourself. The décor won't win design awards and some rooms can pick up noise from the street or nearby nightlife, but the beds are clean and the basics are covered without fuss. With 90 rooms and prices that flex depending on when you book, it works well as a no-frills base for a city break.

Downstairs there's a restaurant and breakfast is available for those who'd rather not venture out first thing, while 24 hour reception means late arrivals aren't a problem. Staff are regularly singled out for being helpful and willing to go the extra mile, which counts for a lot when you're new to the city. Pets are welcome too, and an electric vehicle charge point is on site, with chargeable parking available six minutes' walk away at the open-air car park on Hope Street North.

The location is the real draw: the hotel sits right by the Grand Opera House, with Belfast City Hall and Victoria Square within easy reach, and plenty of pubs, restaurants and entertainment on the doorstep. It suits anyone who wants to be in the thick of things without paying for extras they won't use.

I stayed here for the bank holiday weekend. The room was basic but clean. The staff are brilliant here, they are helpful, chatty and really take time to get to know you. I had an issue when checking in. My mum accidentally booked a double room, instead of a twin. The hotel was virtually full, but the staff went above and beyond to help! They moved beds around for us from different rooms. They couldn't have done anymore. The hotel is in a great location, you are 5 mins from the bus/ train station and 5 mins to the town centre.

Great location and lovely staff. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Only issues were the lack of aircon (likely not an issue normally, but was tricky during a heatwave!) and the noise from outside. Lots of noise from the bars, shop deliveries, and building work.

I had a really good experience, affordable and you get exactly what you paid for. Handy for short stays. Room was clean and fresh so as the bathroom, there was no soap or shampoo though so bring yours! The only problem I faced is the sirens sounds from town but I slept through it. I was kinda hesitant when I saw there’s no door man or security since it is located at a busy part of city center, reception assured me after 11pm doors are locked. 2 receptionists are on site and security during the night, so I slept safely👌

Staff were lovely and the location is close to a main road with a lot of food options but the room had no opening windows, only a small permanently closed obscure glass one very high up.
