About Premier Inn Belfast City Cathedral Quarter

Premier Plus rooms with Nespresso makers and rainfall showers set Premier Inn Belfast City Cathedral Quarter apart from a standard budget stay. The hotel has 148 rooms across five floors, all with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, plus accessible rooms for those who need them. It sits in Belfast city centre, close to shops, entertainment and the SSE Arena, making it a practical base for exploring the city on foot.

There's a restaurant and bar on site, along with breakfast each morning, and rooms come with drinks and free WiFi as standard. Parking isn't included at the hotel itself, but a chargeable multi-storey car park on High Street is a short walk away, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those who need it. Reception operates around the clock, so arrival times are flexible.

The Cathedral Quarter location puts guests within easy reach of nearby pubs, restaurants and other eateries, as well as the wider entertainment on offer in the city centre. Rooms are generally spacious and kept clean, and staff are helpful, though service can be a little inconsistent from one visit to the next. For those wanting the extras, it's worth requesting one of the Premier Plus rooms.

Stayed there for a week during Belfast 2026 Fleadh. Amazing location but that's pretty much it. I understand it was incredibly busy but that's no excuse to do the bare minimum. Restaurant tried to avoid serving us, on the day we booked and prepaid there was no hot breakfast, waiting a refund. Rooms should really at least have a fridge and iron. This last bit is not their fault but during the festival the noise level at night was extreme.

Smaller than what I expected, having stayed in premier inns before. The bed was comfy, slept really well, the air-conditioning was well needed, it was so nice. A few cobwebs about, the bathroom was lovely, lovely walk in Shower, love the purple lights in there. The receptionist was okay, but couldn't get a word in edge ways. He wouldn't let me finish my sentences before assuming what I was going to say, which he was wrong. When I checked in, he said thank you and that was it, I didnt know where to go, he gave me no direction of the stiarcase or lifts. Wanted to change the week i was coming, as i had booked the trip for a friend's 40th but 3 weeks before we was due she suddenly lost her mum, they made me pay nearly double to change the day, they had, no compassion or empathy, this hurt. I was actually shocked at the attitude of the guy i was speaking to on the phone. The hotel is in a great location with everything on your door step, it's just a shame they only think about the money.

Stayed here a few times and it is normally fantastic. This time check in was chaos, queued over and hour and they weren't even sure which rooms had been cleaned by 4pm. Reception person not very. Confident and the maintenance guy on other desk was 3 times faster at checking guests in. No coffee or bin in the room either. Put it down to a glitch as usually a great stay.

Stayed here at the weekend, was fantastic, close to all bars n restaurants. Comfortable beds, with restaurant n bar on site. Staff were really helpful n very friendly which means alot. Would definitely stay here again. Only thing for me was there was no fridge in the room to keep drinks cool.
