A no-frills, budget-friendly base in Belfast for travellers who just want a simple, comfortable room without extras.
About Springfield B&B
Springfield B&B suits visitors after a straightforward, unfussy stay in Belfast rather than a lot of polish. With just six rooms, it has a small, low-key feel, and each comes with an en-suite bathroom, free WiFi and the basics needed for a comfortable night. Breakfast is included, and 24 hour reception means arrival times are flexible.
Guests have access to a lounge area for relaxing away from their room, along with bike storage for anyone exploring the city on two wheels. Free on-site parking is available too, which makes things easier for those arriving by car. It is a practical, unpretentious option rather than a place built around luxury touches.
The location on Springfield Road puts guests within reach of Belfast's shops, pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, including Castle Court Shopping Centre and the area around Great Victoria Street. It works well as a simple base for exploring the city without needing to book anything more elaborate.

What guests say
Just back from an overnight stay seeing this area of West Belfast. The hotels location is perfect if you are interested in the conflict from the nationalist side. Everything you could want to see with regards to their struggle is in short to medium walking distance as is the City Centre. The rooms are spotless and Kevin is a fantastic, freindly, host. This is not The Hilton, it is a mans family home that he has put time and effort into making a freindly, hospitable place to stay for tourists. If you expect Hilton standards stay at The Hilton. Some of the previous reviews are unfair and unwarranted. It is a great little place to stay located in a historic part of town and perfect for the sites of that area. I will definitely be back.

First of all, Kevin is a gentleman. A man with a huge amount of local knowledge, with maps and bus routes to boot. For someone who is currently enjoying his first time in NI, I couldn't have wished for a better host. My room was immaculate, and Kevin certainly is not the sort of stingy host you'd get at a chain hotel: a sumptuous compliment of coffee, tea, and milk was provided. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. I didn't have chance to stay for breakfast but I am certain that it maintains the high standards seen elsewhere in this fine establishment. I will definitely be staying there again.

It's cheap but it gets the job done very well. The bed is comfy and the owner is super nice. The low water pressure for the shower may be a problem for some but it's acceptable for a few nights stay. Definitely will stay here again.

What a brilliant little place. Yes, check in was slightly unique (I felt like I was gatecrashing someone's living room!) but I was given a warm welcome by Kevin and given info about the local area, transport, etc. My room was on the small side, but since I had no luggage, it didn't bother me. Most importantly It was spotlessly clean, there was ample tea and coffee (which was replaced daily) and the hairdryer was powerful (unlike in many places). I really enjoyed my stay, and would happily return.
