About Ty’n Rhos Caravan Park
Tucked just off the A5 near Pentrefoelas, this family-run touring park offers an appealing blend of accessibility and Snowdonia scenery. You're perched on the edge of Eryri National Park with sweeping views toward the peaks and Hiraethog Hills, yet the straightforward access means you won't wrestle your caravan down narrow lanes. Betws Y Coed is a 15-minute drive, the north Wales coast within easy reach, and a bar-restaurant sits just 400 metres away for nights you'd rather not cook.
The facilities strike a practical note—smart shower block, accessible bathroom, utility room with washing machine and dryer—and CCTV at the entrance adds a reassuring layer of security. With only 11–25 pitches, the atmosphere stays peaceful, and walkers will find plenty of trails threading into the hills from the doorstep. Barbecues are welcome, dogs are too (all year), and the site's high rating reflects guests who appreciate its blend of mountain drama and unpretentious, well-run hospitality.

What visitors say
Just spent two weeks here, it's a lovely hidden gem. The campsite is clean and tidy,as are the facilities. Anwen and her husband are very friendly with lots of local knowledge. The site is central to many places to visit, has spectacular views from all generous sized pitches, will definitely return.

A lovely little site surrounded by beautiful farmland. The pitches are very spacious and well kept. On arrival we had issue with electric (my fault!) The owner came to help me within minutes of calling him. Plenty of fresh water points, grey waste drains and rubbish bins. The amenities block is spotlessly clean, modern and includes a laundry area. Very quiet site away from busy roads. We didnt use it but there is a small pub just a 5 minute walk away. If your looking for peace and quiet but within driving distance of towns this is the place. We will be returning, this site is a credit to the owners.

Great campsite! Very nice, clean, toilets and shower block. Has laundry facilities too. Chemical toilet disposal and water points. Owners are very friendly and this site is just beautiful. The views are stunning and you get the occasional fly over from some kind of military aircraft!
