About Glyntwrog House
Betws-y-Coed sits amid the Snowdonia hills, a village long popular with walkers and cyclists, with the National White Water Centre among the local attractions just under a mile away. Up on Dinas Hill above the village, Glyntwrog House takes in the surrounding mountain scenery from a quiet elevated spot just off the A5.
The B&B has five rooms done out in a country-chic style, with a lift making access straightforward across its two floors. Mornings bring a full Welsh breakfast, and a packed lunch can be arranged for days out on the hills. There's a garden and outdoor seating for taking in the views, plus an indoor swimming pool, and free on-site parking for those arriving by car. Meeting rooms and business services are also available, alongside concierge help and luggage storage for guests passing through.
Beyond the breakfast table, the area caters well to outdoor pursuits, with walking and cycling routes, fishing, horse riding, golf and watersports all nearby, and pubs and restaurants within easy reach for evenings out. Glyntwrog House also operates as a wedding venue, making use of its hillside setting for functions as well as overnight stays.

Perfect location for hiking and shopping! You can walk into Betwys directly from the house and leave your car behind. It's footpath all the way. It's also far enough from the town so that it's perfectly quiet at night. Sean is a very friendly host and brilliant cook - breakfast was wonderful - I can highly recommend the omelette! Beautiful house with lots of character. Thank you so much - I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

We had such an amazing stay (3 nights) at Glyntwrog house. Sean and his family are lovely. They put their soul in the B&B. It feels so homely. The breakfast is amazingly "lekker!" The rooms are super clean and the views are stunning. The town is small but lively and has some great restaurants. We would highly recommend Tŷ Gwynn, just a 3 min walk from the house. The food is delicious and it feels like you're stepping back in time. Sean's son and daughter work there! Keep up the good work and thanks for the good time! :)

My partner found this spot when looking for somewhere to stay in Betws-y-Coed. We booked direct and stayed for 1 night. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warm hospitality. The rooms are beautiful and every detail thought about. The room we stayed in had a large bathroom and felt extremely comfortable to stay in - much better than a standard hotel! The breakfast was extremely good with local products used. The coffee was 5* and the food was so delicious. No ask is too big or small and we will be definitely staying here again when in the area. You get more than what you pay for and the location is perfect for a short stroll into the town. Thank you for a great stay!

Our 2 night stay at Glyntwrog House was truly a wonderful experience. Our host Sean was very hospitable, gave us so many tips about the area, and served us a fantastic hot breakfast that was customised to our liking. This B&B only has 4 rooms and so it really feels like a home away from home. The bed was comfortable, the room had a nice view and was very clean. We would gladly recommend anyone coming to the area to stay at Glyntwrog house. When you go there, you will see why.
