About Yr Nyth
Perched on a hill with sweeping views across the Severn Valley, Yr Nyth ('the nest' in Welsh) is a beautifully appointed shepherd's hut in the gardens of Broombush B&B, just ten minutes from Newtown. The cosy interior features a king-size bed (convertible to twins), armchairs, a log burner with complimentary logs, and a galley kitchen for simple meals. The spotless ensuite comes with towels and robes, while a welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits greets arrivals.
Outside on the decked terrace, a hot tub and recliner beds make the most of those lovely Powys vistas, and there's a barbecue for alfresco dining. Dogs are welcome year-round. For an extra treat, order breakfast from the main B&B, served daily from 7am to 10am. It's a peaceful, romantic hideaway with all the creature comforts in a gloriously scenic spot.
