Hotel du Vin & Bistro Birmingham

I would like to sincerely commend Iriua for the wonderful service she provided during my stay. She was exceptionally welcoming, kind, and highly professional from the moment I arrived. Her warm attitude and attentiveness made me feel genuinely comfortable and well taken care of. She was always happy to assist with anything I needed, and her level of service truly enhanced my experience at the hotel. I would also like to mention that the room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The housekeeping staff were also incredibly sweet and attentive, which did not go unnoticed. Overall, the hospitality I experienced was excellent, and staff members like R. Iriwa are a real credit to the hotel. Thank you for making my stay such a pleasant one.

Nice old atmosphere with grand entrance. Nice bar to the left as you go in and connected to the White Lion on the ground floor. Nice welcome by reception staff. Old lift presumably added at some point. The rooms were nice, large comfy pillows. My room was dark but OK. Shower over bath but not very hot. Could easily hear movement in corridor and doors opening/closing while in bed. Didn’t have food on this occasion. Generally it’s nice but it all feels tired - rooms in need of a lick of paint and makeover. I last stayed with this chain about 15 years ago and thought it was exceptional- didn’t quite get the same vibe this time.

I went to this bar with a friend, we were looking for a quiet and classy place to have a drink, where we can dress up and enjoy a peaceful ambience. I LOVE this bar. This bar was absolutely amazing. It was so so relaxing, well decorated and it felt like an escape from life. The cocktail list was so expanse and they tasted incredible, actual cocktails too (not just cheap mixes), the prices? amazing We got some really aesthetic pics for the gram and it was so private. But the HIGHLIGHT of this bar, the staff. Our Bartender was Paris, she was incredible and a true representative of how wonderful this bar is. She was attentive, knowledgeable, super friendly, super non judgemental, Kind and the way in which she treated each customer was so gentle and personal. I was so impressed. I will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Went for birmimgham cocktail weekend, while enjoying our beverage in the lobby like the sophisticated fellows we are, a staff member advised us there was a function room with AC. What with the absolutely diabolical heatwave we're currently experiencing we opted to take the advice. AC was beautiful. Made me feel a lot better about the fact i only had trousers available to me.
