As someone providing virtual support to a UK-based business, I called to follow up on an enquiry. Unfortunately, the owner’s wife was very rude and ended the call abruptly. Regardless of one’s position or relationship to the business owner, everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect. No status gives anyone the right to speak to others in a dismissive or disrespectful manner.
