About The Kings Cross Hotel
The Kings Cross Hotel occupies a classic Blackpool townhouse building on Charnley Road, the kind of solid, terraced property that typifies the resort's seafront streets. It offers straightforward, good-value accommodation within easy reach of Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach, with parking available for those arriving by car.
Rooms are en-suite and include family options, with drinks available in room and a welcoming, informal feel throughout. Some rooms are on the smaller side and can show their age, though the overall atmosphere is clean and looked after by a friendly team. There's a restaurant and bar on site, breakfast included, a snack bar, and kids' meals catered for, alongside a games room that proves popular with families. Practical extras include 24-hour reception, luggage storage, laundry service and concierge support.
The hotel sits within reach of golf, fishing, watersports, cycling and walking country, as well as nearby pubs and restaurants for evenings out. It's a no-frills base suited to those who want to be close to Blackpool's main attractions without paying for extras they won't use.

What guests say
Lovely b&b, staff super friendly, it was clean and had cool decor. Very well stocked bar, didn't try the burgers but heard good things. Now, I will say, the rooms are definitely small, as a woman of larger dimensions I found it difficult to navigate the room and en suite comfortably but it was doable. For the price point this is great choice!!!

Stayed at this hotel last Thursday night with my sister and nephew, and we didn't have the best experience. We were put on the 4th floor, which in the blistering heat was an absolute joke. Fans weren't provided in the room, they were advertised as "available" but they should have been put in the room considering the heatwave. The worst part was the sleep. The bed I had was incredibly creaky, the slightest bit of movement made a noise and it wasn't exactly quiet. But then, at 2 in the morning, cracked "Eminem" was outside the hotel rapping at the top of their voice for at least 40 minutes, then came in to the hotel and just happened to have the room next to ours which they proceeded to start banging and clattering in the room as if they were moving stuff about it. The hotel apparently has a strict "No Noise Policy between 10pm and 7am", but this clearly wasn't enforced as this person was making as much noise as they liked with no consequences whatsoever. We ended up checking out earlier than we had planned because it was so bad. Wouldn't stay here again, wouldn't recommend.

Me and my 10 year old son arrived at the hotel and we were greeted by Connor, he was absolutely lovely and made us feel really welcome. We were paying to park at the hotel then heading straight to the waterpark for the day. We arrived back at the hotel and got our key and Connor talked us through everything we needed to know such as WiFi, the games room/dining area, the bar & the food/drinks menu! We were in room 18 right at the top. The room itself is beautiful, very clean! There were only a couple of minor things which were, having no lamps in the room (Had to keep the big light on) and the bathroom is very small but I understand structually that is something that can't be changed and it was immaculate! We went to coral island and had a lovely evening, we headed back to the hotel as my son wanted to use the amazing games room and play pool. We both really wanted a chinese, we were given plates and cutlery by Connor and were welcomed to eat this in the dining room, it was just us, so we felt right at home! We went up to bed, watched some tele and called it a night as we were both so tired from being on the go all day! Beds were so comfortable and there was no outside noise or general hotel noise at all! Woke up very refreshed. Connor let us keep our car parked at the hotel as we were heading to the blackpool dungeons which was really kind of him as I was concerned about parking/prices etc. Will definitely be returning when we plan to stay again! Thank you Connor!
