About Osprey Guest House
A glimpse of the Tower from certain bedroom windows is one of the small perks at Osprey Guest House, a straightforward base on Charnley Road in Blackpool. The property sits within easy reach of the seafront and the town's main attractions, making it a practical choice for a short stay by the coast.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, a television and a shower, and family rooms are available for those travelling in a group. Guests can expect drinks in the room, free WiFi throughout, and a 24 hour reception for whenever you come and go. There's also a bar on site for an evening drink. It's worth noting that upkeep in some rooms has been inconsistent, and staff conduct has drawn mixed comments, so it's a stay best suited to those wanting simple, no-frills accommodation rather than polish.
Outside the guest house, Blackpool's usual mix of pubs, restaurants and entertainment is close by, along with walking and cycling routes, golf, fishing and watersports for those wanting to fill their days. No parking is available on site, so onward travel plans should factor that in.

Disgusting hotel, was booked for a family of 5. Two adults two children and a baby. Initially we believed this to be a nice place as the owner contacted us and asked us about what time we were arriving, he then asked us if we needed parking when we said yes he then told us this would be an additional £10 charge which could only be paid in cash. We entered to a unhoovered run down looking carpet in the hallway and imagined hopefully the room was better. When we got into the room we discovered mouldy unclean walls, socks stuck to the ceiling no idea what they were covering and run down a dirty looking sink and shower tray. Additionally we discovered an old used razor an old tshirt and dirty mug in the room which was apparetlntly cleaned and fit for purpose. We then attempted to have a shower however it was freezing and there was no hot water as it was after 10pm the owner was no longer in the building but left a phone number to contact him however we would have to pay an additional £20 to contact them after 10pm. We left after one night and attempted to resolve this by agreeing to pay for the night we stayed however the owner has been extremely difficult and has refused and even expects us to pay an additional cancellation fee. This place isnt safe for children I would advice anybody with kids to avoid at all costs. How this place has a 3* rating is incredible it should be shut down until the owner understands how to uphold the most basic of cleaning standards.

We booked this family stay in Blackpool as a last-minute decision after reading generally fair reviews and felt it would be suitable for a short break. On arrival, the gentleman who greeted us and showed us to our room was very pleasant and welcoming. The room initially seemed reasonable for the price we paid. However, we unfortunately experienced several issues during our stay. When we went to make a cup of tea, we found that the kettle was blackened and appeared burnt out. The television was not working and had a large crack across the screen. The shower head holder was also broken, meaning we had to hold the shower while washing. Most concerning was a leak in the room that dripped continuously throughout the night. We informed the staff member on duty, who kindly brought a bucket and placed a towel inside it to try to reduce the noise. Despite this effort, the dripping remained loud and made it very difficult to sleep. We had originally booked a two-night stay but, due to these issues and the discomfort caused, we decided to leave at 7:00 a.m. the following morning after just one night. While we appreciate the friendliness of the staff member we encountered, the condition of the room significantly impacted our experience.

Absolutely vile hotel booked for 3 nights & I left early hours in the morning on my first night due to being bitten constantly by bed bug, I got upset and left cost me 68quid for a cab home,i had bites all over ankles, legs, chest, back&neck, contacted CS with images and they basically refused to help me and refused to give me any type of refund because aparntly I didn't take it up with the staff on the day, the bedding was dirty and hadn't been changed for some time it had alsorts of stains on from white/cream red and even brown(use your imagination), the carpets hadn't been hoovered and had crumbs all over, the bathroom was mouldy radiator was hanging of the wall, no towels, no toilet roll, I could go on forever. Never go here unless you want to be eaten by bed bugs Only good thing is location closed to town center

This hotel is disgusting. We booked 3 nights and we left at 5am no toilet roll mouldy bathroom no towels but the worst thing was the bed. The linen hadn't been changed, there was crisp in the bed and on the floor. There was bed bugs all over our body and clothes. We're back home but the bugs stick to your clothes so now I'm getting bit everyday. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Anyone who gives this a good review either knows the owners or is r e t a r d e d. I hope you get shut down
