About Residency Luxury Seafront Hotel

For travellers after a low-cost seaside break rather than a polished city stay, the Residency Luxury Seafront Hotel offers a straightforward base right on Blackpool's promenade. It suits families, pet owners and groups happy to trade a bit of gloss for a good location and friendly service, with the Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Tower both within easy reach.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in room, and family rooms for those travelling with children, plus sea views from many of them. That said, some rooms show their age and can be missing basic extras, so this is a better fit for guests prioritising position and price over refined finishes. A bar on site, including a popular outdoor seating area, is one of the hotel's stronger features, and 24 hour reception, concierge services and free on-site parking add convenience throughout the stay.

Outside the hotel there's plenty to fill the days, from golf and fishing to watersports, cycling and walking routes nearby, alongside pubs, restaurants and entertainment close by. Airport transfers can be arranged, and pets are welcome, making this a practical choice for a no-frills Blackpool seafront stay.

Horrendous stay, walls are paper thin, whoever was in the next room were arguing & fighting from 8pm until 5am in and out every 5 minutes slamming doors, honestly was like we were all in the same room. Heating does not work! Not the cleanest of rooms! One stained towel provided! Bar closed with Christmas stuff left everywhere! Reception (if you can call it that) absolutely appalling service. It is not maintained they clearly do not care! Would not recommend!

Unfortunately we had to stay here as we hadn't booked, it was booked on our behalf as the reviews looked good. We were placed in room 3. This is a small double room with a chair On entry to the hotel. You are told to go in via the hotel entrance next door. We were told to take a photo of the code for our door, so we could get back into our room later on that evening. There was a distinct smell of funny cigarette use as you enter the hotel and pass through the bar area to your bit of the hotel. Once you reach your room you enter via a digital keypad with the code that many have also taken a photo of. This seems really secure. We entered our room at 2330 and a stood in shock. There was a heavily stained towel on the bed. Yes only the one for two people. The bathroom in the room had a shower a toilet and a sink. There was no toilet roll. (Maybe you just use the tatty curtain) I can't say how the shower is or was as I'm an not getting undressed and allowing any part of my skin to touch any of the surfaces. I thought I would just put up till morning and maybe watch a bit of TV, but wait. Two remotes for the TV, and neither worked. Maybe my wife and I could share a cup of tea out of the one cup. No.. Even the one cup doesn't look clean. It's now midnight as I write my review and there are some very noisy people outside our room. Maybe we should have bunked in with the homeless person in the tent outside near the carpark, I bet that would be more comfortable. I would strongly advise staying somewhere else as I would have done if it hadn't been as late as it was when we got here.

A very very disgusting place!! First room had a leak in the bathroom, moved to another room it was slightly better but no towels and was dirty and grubby! My partner didn’t feel comfortable and insisted we leave. We asked for a refund and were refused. I can honestly say the worst place I have ever potentially stayed!!
