About The Adonis Hotel

Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach are both within reach of The Adonis Hotel, making Reads Avenue a handy spot for anyone planning to spend their days on the seafront or the rides. The surrounding area also has pubs, bars, restaurants and entertainment nearby, plus options for cycling, walking, golf, fishing and watersports for those wanting to venture a little further afield.

Rooms at The Adonis Hotel come with en-suite bathrooms and in-room drinks, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Free WiFi is provided throughout, and reception is staffed around the clock, so arrival times are flexible.

On-site parking is available, though it is chargeable and a reservation is required in advance, so it is worth sorting before you arrive. With its Blackpool address and straightforward facilities, it works well as a simple base for exploring the town's attractions rather than a destination in itself.

We arrived at the hotel around 2 am, upon arrival we had the tip box shaked at us by the very rude man on the front desk, and also found out that the wifi had to be paid for which is stated nowhere on any of the websites. We found the staff particularly unfriendly. We had items taken from our room by house keeping staff, which when we complained about, we were only listened to by front desk members when a member of management was there, if he wasn't there we were very quickly dismissed in a rude manner. On our last day we went to check out of our room and were told we no longer had access to the all inclusive wristbands (again stated nowhere on any of the websites) our flight was at 1 am the next day. We had paid for 7 days for an all inclusive but only received six, the staff just insisted this was their “concept”. I cannot tell you how rude and unhelpful the staff was. The food was awful and had stomach issues (paint the toilet bowl kinda stuff) almost the entire time. Around the pool from 10:30 -14:30 they will play the most obnoxiously loud 2010 pop hits ( good like trying to relax) . We saw multiple fights break out over the 7 days. Multiple chairs were thrown and hotel staff didn't seem to do anything about this. We also saw a young woman get dragged by the current in the sea around and towards jagged rocks and watched as the lifeguard did nothing while her boyfriend screamed at him. Please pease please go anywhere else. Do not waste your time and money on this awful hotel. Absolute nightmare, rude staff. Not worth it.

Stayed here for 1 night absolutely nothing like the pictures, room was very dirty through out, marks on bedding, mold all over the shower, thick of dust everywhere and marks which looked like blood up the walls. We paid £55 pound for the night and honestly total rip off for the room provided. The only bonus was the tv and wifi worked well.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here the first room we got was awful. Stains on the walls, room stunk of smoke and the bed was like a rock. However I rung the owner up and told him of our situation and he quickly sorted it out. He gave us another room and it was absolutely lovely smelt fresh, clean and the bed was very comfortable. In the morning a staff member knocked on and gave us fresh towels and more hair and body wash packets. The TV has free Netflix and free WiFi to use and it was very fast WIFI too. I would highly recommend this place if you want a budget friendly hotel. We stayed here for 3 days, a much needed getaway. Thank you Adonis hotel for accommodating us we will return in the near future. ☺️

We had 2 double rooms booked for one night, on our way down to the hotel we were messaged to see what time we would be arriving, 3 hours after telling them our eta they them phoned us to say they’ve had to cancel our rooms as something was wrong with them!! Left us in Blackpool with no where to stay and having to find last minute alternative accommodation on a very busy Saturday night, they did offer to help us find some other accommodation but we never heard back from them, not very helpful at all. I would recommend not to book this place unless you want let down last minute.
