What guests say
the hotel/room was good,, however I paid for a king-size deluxe and it said we would have dressing gowns and toiletries,, fortunately we took it own as there were none supplied. we had an inside room with no view, but that didn't spoil anything,, however when booking, there must've been a glitch and the room was booked twice,, once the money had left my bank account,, double the amount I expected, I contacted the hotel,, they said to cancel with Booking.com,, and that we'd sort something out with a refund when we arrived,,, when we arrived I was informed that I'd have to stand the cost of the Friday night £70 , which I accepted,, and told they had sold the room again for the Saturday and Sunday night so I'd get refunded £140 .. upon leaving in Sunday, when handing the keys back, the gentleman informed me I'd have the money in my account with 3-5 working days. I looked after 5 days, no money, and thought I'll give them until the end of the forthcoming week and look again,,I waited butty no refund,,I tried to contact them to no avail,, do contacted Booking.com,, they told me I needed to contact the hotel directly, you which I did, but then they said I need to contact Booking. com,,,I felt I was going around in circles,,,I, today, 4 weeks after arrival, have contacted Booking.com yet again to be told to contact the hotel directly,, to which I have, and they now say that Booking.com need to contact the hotel but they don't deal with Booking. com anymore.. it seems to me, even tho they resold the room they don't want to give me my refund,, so if anyone is thinking of booking this hotel I'd think very carefully before doing so

Stayed here for 2 nights over Easter with my daughter. I always try to leave constructive feedback for future improvement, and overall this was a mixed experience with some positives but also some concerning issues. On arrival, the property appeared clean and freshly painted, and the room was a decent size. Beds were comfortable and the blackout blind worked well. Breakfast was OK—a small hot buffet along with cereals, fruit, juices, tea and coffee. However, several aspects fell short. The room felt quite basic in places, particularly the office-style panel ceiling which looked cheap and unusual for a B&B. The ensuite was extremely small and cold, with the towel rack located in the bedroom. Noise insulation was poor—you can hear other guests clearly—and cold air came under the bedroom door whenever the front door opened. Some basic amenities were missing or not working properly. There were no glasses provided in the room for water, and the TV did not display all channels correctly. The bar area is also very limited—more of a cupboard with a few drinks, and no clearly displayed prices. Parking was very tight and stressful, with cars effectively blocking each other in. The most concerning issue was on the morning of checkout, when we noticed marks on the bed sheets and small insects (essentially bedbugs) in both the single beds. As we needed to leave quickly, we didn’t raise this at the time. Having since read other reviews mentioning similar issues with marked sheets/insects, this is worrying! The property is advertised as an AA 4-star B&B, but in our experience it falls well short of that standard.

We really enjoyed our stay, warm welcoming friendly. Parked at the front of hotel. Checked in, all very smooth and quick. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate drinks and mini fridge. Ensuite very clean and tidy, bath and hand towels, plenty of room. Used tram after. We had a 'rear facing room' different outlook on Blackpool. Great choice and really nice breakfast help yourself.
