We had a double bed room with shared bathroom, facing the main street. I couldn’t sleep very well due to car noise, music from the next door bar and people screaming in the night, even though the window was double-glazed. The room was clean and the heating worked well, which was good. Perhaps a reason for not finding the overall atmosphere so welcoming is because it reminds me of old spooky college accommodation :)

I have visited Blackpool three times in 2024 (most recently with a group of friends). The Tropics Hotel is my go-to for comfortable accommodation. Matt and his team are very good hosts. The hotel is extremely well located and is perfect for those looking for a good standard of accommodation at an excellent price. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Blackpool North. The team kindly offered to store our luggage for us on the last day which was greatly appreciated. 5 stars from me and I will be booking again very soon! 😊

Stayed for 1 night we were seeing funny girls for a friend's birthday Really easy to find it's literally next door but 1 to funny girls and a stone's throw from the main part of the prom with the tower, dungeon and Tussauds you literally come out into the heart of it absolutely perfect location couldn't have been happier! It's a 5 minute walk from Blackpool north station too We were greeted by a lovely lady nice and chatty explained everything gave us our keys and showed us where our room was we were even able to check in early so we could leave our bags and pop out which was amazing! The rooms are nothing special very small but clean and tidy and all we needed so that's not a complaint we were more than happy with what we got for the price we paid and what we needed it for We would definitely be happy to stay again in the future 😊

Room only. 3 of us. Perfect for going to the Funny Girls and ma kellys - 2 great night spots. 4 mins from all the lights etc. Hotel is exactly what we expected. €107 each for 3 nights. Clean, near Blackpool North. Great value for money. Will be back.
