About Malibu Hotel
Blackpool's Dickson Road area, close to Blackpool North station and within reach of Blackpool Tower, is where you'll find the Malibu Hotel, a small adults-only property with 19 rooms. It's a straightforward base for exploring the town rather than a destination in itself, suited to guests who want a quiet place to sleep between days out.
Rooms are simple and low-key, each with an en-suite bathroom and Wi-Fi included. There's a 24 hour reception and luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late, and breakfast is served on site alongside a modest bar for an evening drink.
The location puts golf, fishing, cycling and walking areas within easy reach, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment. Blackpool North station is close by, making onward travel straightforward, and Blackpool Tower remains a short trip away for anyone wanting a look at the town's best-known landmark.

What guests say
The cleanliness of the room, combined with the comfort and freshness of the bed and pillows, exceeded expectations. The quiet environment made for an excellent night's sleep. Check-in was seamless and the hotel's location near Blackpool North station is ideal. The only drawback was the absence of a mat and towel in the toilet. Overall, the Malibu Hotel is a solid choice and I would recommend it.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Funny girls and the gay bars for NYE. The location is brilliant, literally step outside and across the road. The room we ordered was a triple room, so we had a double room with the adjoining door opened to 2x single bed room. The man who showed us to our room was using racist language when talking about other guests to us, so instantly we knew we wouldn't come back, regardless of our experience. He was unable to open the adjoining door, so a different man came to resolve this within a out 20 minutes. He was very friendly and polite, a huge contrast to the other man. Roomwise, no where in the double room to hang up coats, bags. No desk or dressing table. The kettle and cups were on one beside table. The window was stuff to open, with the handle loose so we were worried it would break. The room was extremely basic, which isn't actually a problem when we are just using it for a place to crash when we get back from the bars. The room could do with some TLC, lumpy mattress, damage to walls in several places about the room, tired looking bathroom. (The water was warm but too low pressure to have any kind of decent shower.) At about 3am the neighbours had the hotel member of staff out because their room was leaking. Lots of noise was made getting neighbours to their new room. Won't be returning.
