About Park Farm Caravan and Camping

Park Farm sits in quiet countryside near Bodiam Castle, offering generous grass pitches where campfires crackle under the stars. Families gravitate here for the brilliant play area – think zip lines, tree swings, and space for children to roam – while the converted barn houses a welcoming bar that's become a proper social hub. Facilities stay clean and well-maintained, staff are genuinely friendly, and dogs potter about happily alongside their owners.

With 68 electric pitches and 20 non-electric options spread across the site, there's breathing room between units. It's worth noting some visitors find it can get noisy at times, but for many the trade-off – especially that stellar play setup and the relaxed campfire atmosphere – makes this a dependable Robertsbridge base for exploring the surrounding Sussex Weald.

Very nice site with plenty of space but I think the toilet and shower block is too small to cope with the number of visitors at peak times, so we decided to use the on-board shower in the motorhome instead. This was a hot bank holiday weekend in May. There was a small additional set of toilets at the far end of the field, but it was out of order. By late afternoon, there were no ice creams left in the shop but there was a van later which had plenty so we were able to get one. The weekend was very hot with no breeze, so the site became very smoky in the evening once the campfires got going. I was surprised that you're allowed to have fires directly on the grass, rather than in a proper firepit. The site is an easy walk to Bodiam Castle, and the riverside walk for the Kent and East Sussex Railway and steam train rides to Tenterden. I would use the site again but avoid peak weekends in the school holidays.

This is quite a rough site, or a least it seemed to be mostly travellers when we went. Most of the campsite rules were being broken, children on electric bikes, banned breed dogs (although I don't agree with banning breeds, it was on their rules!). The showers were warm and clean but the light sensor goes off and so you have to shower in the pitch black until someone else comes in to the block. Has the potential to be really beautiful but the verges/river had a lot of litter. Wardens /staff were very friendly and helpful. Great walk straight from campsite to Bodiam castle.

Great campsite, we went for the pitch anywhere field so tucked away in the corner cause we like to be noisy! Beautiful views from the campsite. Friendly staff on entry. Best thing is you’re allowed camp fires on the ground!

Had an excellent time at Park Farm. The bar and karaoke was superb, everyone got involved. The bar staff were incredible, creating a welcoming and fun environment. Will be going again in the 6 weeks holiday
