Lovely quiet spot. V. Relaxing. So lovely to see deer grazing in the morning. The hut has everything you need with toilet and shower on board and well equipped kitchen. Walking up the hill to see the sunset and look at the view was a real treat. Easy reach of pretty towns like Battle and the coast. Robert Our stay was just great, from the start with clear instructions on how to get there, met by John when we arrived and showed us to our accommodation. It was very relaxing and peaceful in your own private space, the shepherds hut had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean. John was a great host also gave us recommendations of places to go and visit and places to eat out. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Just returned from a 2 night weekend stay at eyelid farm. We had the best time! Neither of us like organised camp sites too many rules and people plus we have 2 little dogs who can sometimes bark. Eyelid was perfect for us. lovely massive field where you could choose your spot. Lovely and quiet only four others camping so not on top of each other. The toilet's and shower was amazing! So clean and modern better than mine at home! Owner very friendly and welcoming. The dogs had the bestest time running around freely which was lovely. Definitely will return soon

Huge field with tons of space, so you don't feel on top of other people. Really friendly owner, and the shower and toilet facilities are out of this world! Better than some hotels I've stayed in. The grass is a bit long though, which makes life even more soggy on rainy days, but apart from that, a top spot
