Mallard Cottage

You walk into Mallard Cottage on a single level, with no steps to negotiate once inside. The layout opens immediately into a living space where a Freeview TV, DVD player and woodburner sit alongside a dining area and kitchen. A king bed takes up the first bedroom; a single occupies the second. The bathroom has a bath with shower and grab rail. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are supplied, along with heating throughout the colder months, and there is private parking on the grounds.

The cottage forms part of a three-acre site with its own lake and shared gardens furnished with tables and chairs. A games room with a full-size snooker table and darts board is available to guests. Westwood Lakes lies nearby; the area is known for birdwalking and nature reserves, with the Lincolnshire Wolds accessible for day trips. Skegness beach, 15 miles away, draws families in summer. The property does not permit smoking. A travel cot and highchair can be provided, and equipment to assist less mobile guests is available on request. The grounds contain an unfenced pond and lake.
