What visitors say
One of the best places we have been to. Great for long walks and to have a picnic especially by the river. We had a 45' boat trip and it was simply amazing. Relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Also full of information as our skipper Leo was amusing us with many stories regarding this place. We are definitely recommending this place to visit and we will go back there for sure.

This is a beautiful National Trust property, there were lots of families were having picnics in garden. The plants and gardens were lovely- there is so much to explore. If you walk to the River Thames you can rent a boat! There were children’s play areas and lots of cafes & restaurants throughout the property. We couldn’t do it all in one afternoon- so make sure you plan a full day and talk your walking shoes. The gift shop has something for everyone; plants, edible gifts, books, toys, even Jewellery!

National Trust Cliveden is an absolutely gorgeous place to visit and one where you can easily spend an entire day exploring. The grounds are stunning, with beautiful gardens, woodland walks, impressive views, and plenty of areas to discover at a leisurely pace. What made the visit even more enjoyable was the people. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout, always happy to answer questions and offer guidance. The volunteers also deserve special recognition for being approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing information about the estate and its history. Whether you're interested in history, nature, photography, or simply a relaxing day out, Cliveden has something to offer. A wonderful National Trust property that is well worth a visit, and one I would happily return to.

A very beautiful place with a large and well-maintained garden and manor. It’s a lovely spot where you can easily spend a lot of time relaxing and exploring. We especially enjoyed the maze—it was one of the highlights of our visit in Buckinghamshire. Overall, it’s one of the nicest National Trust places in Buckinghamshire and definitely worth a visit.
