Skipper’s Cabin

Skipper's Cabin is a one-bedroom harbourside apartment built to make the most of its position overlooking Poole Marina. From the private balcony, you can watch the boats and water change through the day—morning coffee as activity picks up, evening drinks as light fades. The whole place sits on the first floor, with an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area that takes in natural light through patio doors onto the balcony.

Inside, the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher, plus a washer-dryer for longer stays. The bedroom contains a king-size bed, and the bathroom has a bath with shower over it. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. A permit for one parking space comes with the booking, though many guests find they leave the car behind once they arrive.

The location puts you a short walk from Hamworthy Beach and Park, and about ten minutes on foot from Poole Quay, where restaurants, pubs and shops line the water. From the Quay, ferries run to Brownsea Island, and the coast path stretches away in both directions. Smoking is not permitted inside.
