This hotel is a real gem in the area! Great location: close to the sea but remote enough from the busiest area around the main pier. Lots of food options around for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of parking for guests (there is a fee though). The rooms are lovely and the ground floor area and restaurant are quite impressive. Our only inconvenience was that, despite the fact that we booked weeks in advance, we were checked into a room for disabled people (the bathroom was quite something!) which also happened to be by the lift. The hotel was packed so they couldn’t do anything about it on the day, however moved us to a standard room the next day (after we reminded them in the morning). Wi-fi is intermittent so I wouldn’t rely on it in case you need to for work. They seemed understaffed in the main restaurant downstairs as it took ages for the food to arrive in the evening. We still had a really nice time and this place is definitely one of the best options in the area all things considered.

My son and his beautiful bride had their wedding day on the 1st of August and myself and guests alike were blown away with the venue but the staff were out of this world with the service they provided. They went above and beyond for everyone. The food was excellent also. To be honest I seriously cannot find one fault

Now the room was adequately equipped as to what we paid for it. The staff are incredibly friendly. The Spa and swimming pool were above average for the value. I would also like to thank the Spa treatment team. They know their field well and a treatment from here won’t disappoint. Keep it up!

We came for my Mums birthday dinner and have never dined somewhere where the staff are so attentive, considerate, get to know you and attune the service to make sure you have the best meal and experience. The service was impeccable and the food was 5 star at a cheap price. Tom, the manager, andd Youbin were serving us and were unbelievably kind, thoughtful and provided impeccable service. Highly recommend dining here even just as a restaurant visit if you're not staying. The dining space is beautiful and relaxing. Thank you so much Connaught Hotel for taking such good care of us. Will be back to try the rest of the menu 💗
