Disgraceful. Left stranded on the street and forced to pay for a new hotel. Do not trust Bourne Hall Hotel. I made a direct booking for a 3-night stay (Ref: 11250004005) and had a full email confirmation. Because I had bad experiences with other hotels recently, I went to the property at 9:00 AM on the day of check-in just to confirm my room was secure. The hotel was completely locked up and closed. I called the emergency mobile number on the door, and the staff explicitly told me they had NO reservation under my name. Because they told me my booking didn't exist, I was forced to find immediate alternative accommodation nearby at the last minute. I had to check into The Trouville Bournemouth just down the street, which cost me an extra £88.50 out of my own pocket. Only AFTER I caught them out did they send a WhatsApp message trying to cancel my booking, claiming an "unforeseen maintenance issue" and using the excuse that "no payment was taken." A non-refundable confirmation email is a legal contract. Leaving a guest stranded on the street and forcing them to scramble for a backup hotel next door is appalling management. I have sent a formal Letter Before Action and will be taking this to the Small Claims Court to recover my losses if they do not reimburse me. Avoid this place at all costs.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone staff rude and no manners giving a master key to a random guy. After chilling in a room with my mate a guy has used the key to get into our room without permission from us receptionist was rude with us about the situation room was full of mold and stains. Says free parking then charges us 40 pound for leaving it there for 1 hour.

I Knew we was going to have issues getting to the check in time. So called approximately 17 times over 3 days. No answer. Had to leave an event I was attending and run to the hotel to check in. Hotel clerk/owner told me I should call the number on the door...which is great if you haven't been to the hotel before and didn't know that. Turned out we wasn't in the bourne hall hotel id booked we was in the hotel they owned next door. We was on the top floor which every floor leading upto smelt like incense or weed. Rooms are full of old battered furniture. Fixtures and fittings look like they have been installed by the owners following a DIY youtube video. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Service price and the state of the place is disgusting.

The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location, apart from that it’s probably the worst hotel we’ve stayed in! Everything is old and damaged. Not sure how they justify charging £100 a room!
