About Burley Court Hotel
Bournemouth's pier, seafront bars and restaurants are all within walking distance of Burley Court Hotel, making it a straightforward base for exploring the town without needing the car. Golf, fishing, cycling routes and watersports are all nearby too, for those wanting more than a stroll along the front, and free on-site parking is available for anyone arriving by road.
Rooms are en-suite, with family options available, drinks available in-room and a daily breakfast to set guests up for the day. A restaurant and bar on site cover evening meals and drinks without having to venture out, while room service, laundry service and 24-hour reception add convenience for longer stays. There's also an outdoor swimming pool and concierge services on hand for local recommendations.
Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the location near the pier and town centre is the property's clear strength. Some rooms are showing their age and heating can be patchy, so it suits guests prioritising position and price over polish. Pets are welcome, which is worth noting for those travelling with dogs.

What guests say
I had a horrible experience at this hotel and would absolutely not recommend staying here I would rate it 0 star if I could. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The entire space was dirty, and the toilet was in a shocking state, covered in insects and stray hair. Curiously, while the table appeared wiped down, it was left covered in random seeds. What made the stay even worse was the service. I complained to the front desk about these disgusting conditions, but absolutely nothing was done to fix the situation. The staff were highly unprofessional, indifferent, and showed zero care for their guests. Save your money and book somewhere else.

Shower was constantly cold but the bath worked. The heating comprised of a plug in oil heater which did the job by day 2 of it being on. I didn't really see any staff after checking in but that could be because we are off season. It was clean enough and in a really good location.

The hotel is looking dated but it is clean. The same with the rooms, sheets and towels were clean, the room looks dated and the bathroom looks tired. The staff on the desk were amazing, really friendly and helped with everything

A long overdue review! Our apologies My partner and I stayed in October on Halloween night to attend a Marilyn Manson concert near by. The property has so much character, a delightful older building. The staff were lovely and we couldn’t have asked for more, and parking was easy. The hotel was very easy to find, and we were allowed some extra time to stay in there before leaving, to allow us to try out the local beach zip line! - which was very courteous so thank you again. We look forward to visiting Bournemouth again and will be staying at The Burley Court. Many thanks, Dan & Rebecca
