I arrived at The Village, after a very traumatic experience at Travel Lodge, and in distress. The lady who greeted me at the desk was amazing. Her name was Katy. Katy listened to my story and she went out of her way to help me and book my husband and I a room and sent me off to bed to rest. Katy made me feel so much better, and calmer. She then had interactions with my husband when I arrived and was again very helpful and appeared to genuinely care. We ended up needing to extend out stay, and both Katy and a male member of staff were very good at accommodating us and very helpful. We used the hotels facilities in-between hospital visits, and the food very nice. Chris the barman was really good at getting us a little table during a world cup game, despite us not booking. He was a very friendly barman and welcoming. Our room was lovely, comfortable bed and comfortable large pillows. Very good shower. If we ever have a need to be in Christchurch again, we would not hesitate in booking our stay at The Village. Thank you Katy for the kindness you showed me, I will never forget this.

We've just got back from a one night stay and we were beyond pleased with our stay. I had booked an one night stay package for my partner, toddler and I, which included breakfast, a £50 Pub and Grill voucher, and i also signed up to become a member online which meant Parking, WiFi and use of the gym/pool facilities for free! Overall, with also paying for late checkout which was £15, we had paid £116. The receptionist on arrival, who was also there throughout our whole stay, went above and beyond during our stay. I'm sorry to say I didn't grab her name, but she had brown hair and wore glasses. She kindly let us check in 30 mins earlier as our room was ready, and on back way from the swimming pool, sourced an extra towel and some conditioner for my wife to wash her hair. The pool and health club was great, perfect sized changing rooms for a family, provided towels and locker fobs and the pool itself was a good size and temperature, especially for our 2 year old. We went to the pool Sunday evening and Monday morning, and both times it was busy but more than enough space for everybody to enjoy the area. Tlhe Pub and Grill was busy, but our food came out in good time and was tasty and good quality. The chicken strips in the kids menu would be more than filling for an adult, and was proper chicken breast! The room was clean and the staff had even left decorations and a card for my wifes birthday! We ended up using our own travel cot (fussy sleeper) but there was more than enough room for the three of us! The TV also had screen share, meaning we could watch a Disney+ film in the evening as a family before bed. The staff from the Hotel, Pub and Grill, Health Club and cleaning were all super friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend a stay here, we shall be returning in the future 👍🏻

My husband and I stay at the Village Hotel Bournemouth several times a year, and we always have a great experience. The facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. The service is excellent, and the breakfast offers a fantastic choice of both cooked and continental options, with something to suit everyone. One of the highlights was the breakfast. The cooked and continental buffet offered an excellent choice of food, with something to suit everyone’s tastes. There was a wide selection of hot breakfast items, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, juices, tea, and coffee, all well presented and regularly replenished. We usually book the Club Rooms, which are fantastic. They are always comfortable, spotless, and well maintained, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The staff are exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. We would particularly like to mention Georgia, Kate and Sherrell, whom we have seen on several occasions. They are always welcoming, helpful, and go above and beyond for guests. On one visit following a telephone call, they kindly helped arranged for my charger to be returned to me after I had left it behind, which was greatly appreciated. Their warm welcome and excellent customer service are a big reason why we keep returning. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next stay.
