Went here on Sunday for an event. I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user and unfortunately Sunday was a wheelchair day. The button for the wheelchair lift on the ground floor did not work. I’m extremely lucky that my chair is JUST narrow enough to fit into the other lift, but if my chair was any wider, I’d be buggered. The door for the disabled toilet upstairs opens inward and is extremely heavy for someone in a wheelchair. Thankfully a woman passing opened it for me, but again, had she not been, I’d have struggled to open the door. While it isn’t a law, it is strongly advised that accessible toilet doors should open outward, or both ways, to allow emergency access. It’s disappointing that this is not the case in an otherwise lovely venue, as had my chair not been next to the toilet emergency access would be blocked. This is particularly alarming as someone may fall out of their chair and need help, but their chair may be blocking the door.

This public swimming pool is absolutely disgusting, especially during the children’s session. The pool area, changing rooms, and showers are extremely dirty and poorly maintained. Out of 6 showers in the family changing room, only 3 have hot water. The rest are cold, which is unacceptable, especially for children. On top of that, people show no respect to others who are using the showers. They push in, stand too close, and behave very rudely. There is no proper supervision or control. This place is unhygienic, uncomfortable, and stressful. It really needs serious cleaning, better management, and basic respect for customers. I do NOT recommend this place for families or children.

Gym is dirty and old. Swimming lessons in typical after work hours every monday-friday so you can’t actually use the pool/sauna/steam after work. Go to the village across the road it’s way better.

Difficult to rate, didn't use the sport facilities, we visited for a comic con. Staff were friendly, catering inside was good. Toilets were in need of a good deep clean and updating, but they worked. 3 hours free parking. The comic con was packed and very popular. An outside eating area would be lovely if the seating was dried for visitors. The pool was empty which was a suprise. Upon arrival the car park was packed so quite clearly very popular.
