Liston Hall Barn

Liston Hall Barn is a converted barn with five bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, sleeping up to ten across the whole property. The ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining space that opens onto the garden, with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, wine cooler. Upstairs there's a second sitting room with a galleried view. Oil and underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and WiFi are all included; the essentials are covered.

The five ensuite bedrooms range from a super kingsize with a bath to zip-and-link twins, with one other super kingsize and three further doubles or kings, each with its own shower room and heated towel rail. A travel cot and highchair are available. The real draw is the six-person hot tub on the back garden patio, which is private to the property. There's parking for three cars. One dog or cat can stay at no extra charge. No smoking inside.

This works as a large family gathering spot or a group holiday. The surrounding Essex countryside is quiet, though the property itself gives you everything you need for a self-contained break. Children and pets are welcome; the layout means families can spread out across the bedrooms without anyone feeling crowded.
