This museum is fab — such a cute little place! On the ground floor, there’s a range of Victorian shops: a sweet shop, a chemist, a grocery store, a pub, a little dress up shop & more all set up with incredible detail. Upstairs, there are several galleries with old toys and even old game machines that you can play with old pennies, so bring some coins to exchange! Lots of fun, so much hands on stuff, several play areas for children, overall a brilliant museum well worth the small entry price. A fantastically unique museum. A wonderful experience had by us. Thank you!

A fantastically unique museum. On the ground floor there is a great Victorian street featuring houses, pubs, shops, police station, school and more. A wonderful experience had by us. Unfortunately the upstairs was closed due to staffing issues when we attended. But there was a concession on the entry price due to this. So it was only £4 for an adult ticket at the time. Well worth it

Visited Abbey House Museum a couple of weeks ago after not having been since primary school. Really enjoyed exploring the immersive displays, especially the Victorian street, and enjoyed the interactive activities, including the quiz that tells you what job you might have had in the 19th century. A shout-out to Finley, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain the exhibits. Would definitely recommend.
