Church Farm Cottages - Holy Boys

Breckland

Photo: Google Maps

Holy Boys is a converted barn cottage sleeping four in two bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The ground floor centres on a living room with woodburner and French doors opening to an enclosed garden; the kitchen is fitted with a gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, making it straightforward to cook and eat here rather than relying on restaurants. Upstairs are a double bedroom and a twin, both with shower or bath en suite. Initial logs for the woodburner are supplied, as are wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and heating throughout.

The cottage stands in a conservation hamlet surrounded by quiet lanes and designated countryside, with the River Nar a short walk away and Castle Acre village, known for its Priory and Norman Castle, within easy reach on foot through watermeadows. The location works equally well for walkers and cyclists exploring Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coastal Path, or as a base for day trips to the north Norfolk coast, the Broads, or Breckland further south. Private parking for one car is on site, and children can use the cot and highchair provided. The property is no smoking.
