Maytree Cottage

Maytree Cottage is a detached house built by Potton, accessed via an unmade road on the edge of Dereham. It's a four-bedroom property sleeping ten across a king, a double, and two pairs of singles, with one bathroom. The ground floor holds a living room with a multi-fuel burner and sofa bed, a kitchen and dining area with a full range of appliances, and a conservatory with a pool table. A separate toilet is also on this level. Upstairs are the four bedrooms and the bathroom, which has both a roll-top bath and a shower cubicle.

The cottage comes with wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels included. There's a large enclosed garden with patio and summerhouse, onsite parking, and a bike store. One well-behaved pet stays free. Oil central heating keeps the place warm; fuel for the multi-fuel burner can be bought locally. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking is permitted.

Dereham is a working market town with leisure facilities including a pool and leisure centre, golf course, ten-pin bowling and cinema within reach. The Mid-Norfolk Railway is half a mile away, running scenic trips and hosting a Polar Express Experience over winter. A pub and restaurant are a quarter-mile off. Norwich with its Norman castle and museums lies beyond; Wells-next-the-Sea is 22 miles along the coast.
