The Old Rectory Coach House
Breckland
A village in Breckland sits at the heart of Norfolk's network of footpaths and rural lanes. The Old Rectory Coach House occupies its own grounds on the edge of the parish, approached by a private drive near St Peters church. Beyond the immediate countryside, the coast lies within an hour's reach, and the Broads, the Brecks, and numerous National Trust properties are all easily driven to. Dereham, two miles away, has an indoor pool, cinema and bowling, plus a twice-weekly market.
This detached former coach house holds three bedrooms and two bathrooms across two floors. Downstairs there is a kingsize bed with an en-suite bathroom, plus an open-plan living and dining space with kitchen at one end and a woodburner at the other. Upstairs, one room has two single beds and another has one. The kitchen is equipped for cooking; essentials like heating, electricity, linen and towels are included, along with Wi-Fi. An enclosed courtyard garden with patio and barbecue sits directly outside, and there is parking for two cars on site. One dog can stay free of charge.
The Mid Norfolk Railway runs half a mile away, offering trips to Wymondham Abbey and Dereham. Bus stops nearby provide regular services into town. The village itself has a children's play area and recreation ground close to the church. No smoking inside the property.
